Missouri Pacific B icentennial Locomototives Art. on the art it has Missouri Pacific Railroad marked the observance of the nations bicentennial and it's own 125th anniversary by commissioning these locomotives for services on its line in 1976.
Unit 1776 is a G.P.-1600 H.P. road-switch unit. Unit 1976 is a G.P. -1800 H.P. road -switch unit.
